Sangiovese 'Re Nero' Trerè 2024
“레 네로”는 산지오베제의 역동적이고 신선하며 활기찬 와인으로, 바리크에서 짧은 숙성을 통해 부드러워졌습니다. 붉은 꽃, 제비꽃, 체리, 그리고 베리의 기분 좋은 향이 느껴지는 아로마 프로필을 가지고 있습니다. 맛은 부드럽고, 상쾌하며, 감칠맛이 나고, 조화롭고 훌륭한 균형을 이룹니다.
The Sangiovese “Re Nero” from the Trerè winery is a dynamic and expressive red produced on the hills surrounding Faenza, in Emilia-Romagna. This label is made from pure Sangiovese grapes sourced from the Monticoralli vineyard, located at about 150 meters above sea level with an east-southeast exposure. The vines, which have an average age of about 30 years, are trained using the spurred cordon method on medium-textured soils characterized by predominantly clayey soils. The winery, owner of about 35 hectares of vineyards, is a family-run business managed by Morena Trerè and her son Massimiliano Fabbri, who, using modern agronomic and winemaking techniques, have given new impetus to the family business.
The “Re Nero” Sangiovese is produced with carefully selected and hand-harvested grapes, generally around the first decade of October. The bunches, upon reaching the winery, are destemmed and gently pressed before undergoing alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with daily pump-overs and a maceration on the skins for a few weeks. Subsequently, the wine undergoes racking with gentle pressing of the skins, after which it remains in aging in French oak barriques for at least 6 months before being bottled for commercial release.
The “Re Nero” Sangiovese from Trerè presents itself with a deep ruby red color with slight purple hints. On the nose, intense notes of red fruit and berries appear, including cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and currant, floral notes of violets and red flowers, and spicy hints of vanilla and licorice. On the palate, it is round, slender, fresh, and vibrant, characterized by lively tannins and a slight salinity that makes it pleasant to drink. This Sangiovese from Romagna by the Trerè winery is a juicy, energetic, and easy-drinking red, characterized by a pleasant aromatic profile
