The production of the cellar of Mateus Nicolau de Almeida is divided into different lines: the ‘Trans-Douro-Express’ aims to highlight the peculiar expression of the three sub-zones of the Douro, specifically Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo, and Douro Superior; the ‘Eremitas’ selection showcases three different variations of the indigenous grape Rabigato, grown in different plots in the Douro Superior area and processed in the same way; the wines from the ‘Curral Telles’ range are produced in limited quantities from the vineyards surrounding the estate; the ‘Ameztoy & Almeida’ line includes Ports, in Ruby and white versions, crafted artisanally from grapes sourced from an old vineyard; finally, the ‘Torna Viagem’ includes limited edition bottles that have traveled from Portugal to Brazil and then returned, enriched with unique nuances. All these selections are genuine interpreters of the Douro area with its multiple facets.
